Below are some great physics links collected over the years. Some are educational, some are just phun. If you find a site you would like to add, please send me a copy of the link. Enjoy.

Physics Help

  • Albuquerque Library Homework Help provides free online tutoring in math, science, English, and social studies. They are available 7 days a week from 3p-10p. They also have homework help in Spanish for math and science Sunday-Thursday 3p - 8p. Check it out. (Alan, '06)

  • The Physics Classroom provides some good, basic information and online tutorials of high school physics topics.

  • AP Central is the offical CollegeBoard website. You can find lots of good information on the AP Exams in general and AP Physics in particular.

Physics Day

  • Six Flags Over Texas is where we've participated in Phyiscs Day for the past two years. The park is closed to everyone except phyiscs students. Students use their knowledge of physics to determine velocities and accelerations of park rides. LOTS of fun.

  • Cedar Point, the self-proclaimed Rollercoaster Capital of the World also holds a Phyiscs Day every year. Last year they had a couple of the ride engineers present to talk about designing the rollercoasters. You should check out some of the coasters . . . a few of them make me sick just to look at . . . cool.
